Sumita Sinha is a professional in the Corporate IT field for over 25 years. She is a Bachelors in Computer System Engineering from BIT Mesra – India.
She is a passionate folk singer and event host who has actively participated in community events and services in India, Australia, and Canada. Sumita is a pioneer in bringing Bihari Folk Music and Dance to various GTA platforms, including the prestigious Panorama Stage. She is very passionate about showcasing Indian Culture and Traditions specially from her states Bihar & Jharkhand.
Sumita a philanthropist, has extended her support to numerous cultural and musical groups in Toronto. As a sponsor, she takes delight in backing individuals and groups engaged in charitable and beneficial endeavors for society.
She is currently the Vice Chair of the most prestigiou not for profit organization Panorama India. She is also part of the organizing committee of Toronto Musical Group, Tarana and Filmy Chakkar.
Sumita is a hardworking individual who balances her work, family, and social commitments very well.
